How school entry works
A cohort covers birthdays from 2 April through 1 April of the following year. A child born on 1 April belongs to the school year above a child born the next day.
The table shows six elementary years and three lower-secondary years, followed by a three-year full-time upper-secondary example. High-school admission is separate; part-time and correspondence routes can differ.
Before you enrol
The school year runs from April through the following March. The age column is the age reached in the starting calendar year, not the age on the entrance-ceremony day. Confirm actual dates with the school.
What this estimate does not decide
Check enrolment notices, the assigned school and support needs with the local board of education. Placement following overseas schooling or individual circumstances cannot be decided by this standard calculation alone.

No. Admission has its own process; the table is a three-year full-time example.
What does the completion year mean?
It is the calendar year in which the final illustrated academic year ends in March. Actual graduation requires course completion.
Is the birthday stored?
It is not sent to or stored on the server. Your own printed or downloaded copy includes it.
